Too many close calls lately. I finished Chapter 15 last night, once again, just in time. I've been pretty busy the past week, so it's been hard to find time to write. The good new is that the chapter turned out great, in my opinion. =D It's long, it's exciting, there's a reveal, and a cliffhanger ending. How could it get any better?
In other news, I thought up a little poem the other day. It came to me whilst I was scooping dry soup mix into Ziploc bags. Me and my strange brain. Anyways, I wrote it to go along with a future book I have planned. I mentioned it in the interview on Jesse Rice's blog. It's working title is This Could be You. It's about a nearly-14-year-old boy who lives on the streets after his parents are arrested. This poem was written to go at the beginning of the book, as an intro of sorts. I'm not entirely sure I'll use it, but I figured I'd share it with you guys. =]
Fourteen years, flying by,
Fourteen stars, in the sky,
Fourteen lives, and I wonder why,
Fourteen lies, why do I even try?
A life, fourteen years long,
Fourteen days, what more could go wrong?
That's all for this post! Stay tuned for a post about Chapter 16 later this week!
